Hello! I’m Lorinda Dixon
I am an artist residing in Youngstown, Ohio who specializes in graphic design and photography. I am currently pursuing my BFA in Graphic and Interactive Design at Youngstown State University. My Skills
During my time as an artist, I’ve made publications, illustrations, and logos for a number of businesses and programs, many of them for organizations or departments at Youngstown State University. I also have extensive experience as a photographer, and have shot weddings, on-and off-campus events, and more. Additionally, I have limited experience in animation and video production, along with coding and programming.

December 2018 – Featured in the Youngstown Business Journal in an article about creative placemaking, showcasing an app and book that I made.
Presentation of creative placemaking project to Liberty Township Council
December 2018 – Attended a meeting at the Liberty Township Administrative Building with RJ Thompson of Plus Public to present the app and book that I made for the creative placemaking project.
2nd place in 2019 tessier women’s and gender studies writing contest
March 2019 – Awarded 2nd place in the contest for my essay written under the theme, “Imagining a YSU Women’s Center”.
